Niagara Prosperity Initiative

The Niagara Prosperity Initiative was established by Niagara Region in 2008, and provides an annual investment of $1.5 million to support poverty reduction and prevention activities. Using a research-based approach to address the root causes of poverty, the Niagara Prosperity Initiative allocates resources where they will have the greatest effect.

Goals of the Niagara Prosperity Initiative

Proposals are invited from the community for projects that will provide an effective service to address poverty at a neighbourhood level for residents of the Niagara region.

The 2018 Niagara Prosperity Initiative Request for Proposals (RFP) will open February 2 - March 5, 2018.

We encourage you to review the questions and instructions ahead of time as well as review the information session presentation.
